Street Style Trends from NYFW

By Sarah Sleem

New York Fashion week just ended and although we loved the runway looks, some of the best fashion definitely came from the streets. Marc Jacobs may be “tired of street-style looks,” as he told reporters backstage this year, but luckily, the rest of the fashion world is not! Let’s take a look at how fashionistas managed to stay warm and still look amazing.

Layering is one thing that never goes out of style, especially in the New York cold! The easiest way to layer clothes this year seems to be by keeping it simple on the bottom. Pair some jeans with a button down and let your coat & accessories do all the talking.

Nikes

Nikes are always a big part of street style. They come in so many different styles and colors, making any outfit stand out. Our favorites? The pair you see above to the right. How can you miss someone walking down the street in those?

Faux Fur Coats

Wearing a faux fur coat is always daring because it can easily take an outfit from cute to tacky. But the NYFW attendees knew what they were doing! There were many of these coats on the streets in different colors and prints.
